DR. CARMEN TESCH-BIEDERMANN started in the field of intellectual property in 2004. She represents and advises clients in all areas of patent, utility model, trademark and design law and employee’s invention law. Building on her many years of experience at the most renowned physics research institutes, she represents her clients before the German and European Patent Offices. In patent infringement proceedings before the competent civil courts, she works with specialized lawyers.

The main focus of your advisory activities are application, opposition and appeal proceedings as well as invalidity and cancellation proceedings of patent rights before the respective patent offices, the Federal Patent Court and the Federal Court of Justice (patent nullity proceedings), national, EU and international trademark and design protection, legal validity and industrial property rights as well as IP due diligence.

For many years she is a lecturer on various topics of intellectual property. Miss Dr. Carmen Tesch-Biedermann is the author of the bestseller “Patentwissen für die Praxis – Das müssen Manager und Innovatoren in KMU über Patente wissen; Verlag: Vahlen, 1. Auflage, 2017”. She particularly cares about the needs of companies, especially SMEs to successfully support them in the international competition.
